I finally finished assembling my “custom” PC last night, also known as the Frankenstein’s Monster of 2017-2023 budget parts. It boots! It makes noises! Sometimes the lights even turn on!
But here’s the plot twist: I spent hours and a minor existential crisis picking between “cheapest PSU possible” versus “slightly less cheap PSU with a sticker that says ‘reliable.’” The sticker won. So, did I just save my future house from spontaneous combustion, or am I still going to wake up one day to find my “gaming rig” doubled as a smoke machine?
Also, how bad is it when your RGB syncs perfectly with the fan’s death rattle?
